What is Card Counting?

Card counting is a technique that tells you when the remaining cards in the shoe favor you over the casino. You keep a simple running total as cards are dealt. The running count tells you the raw total. But a running count of +6 means something very different with 6 decks remaining vs 2 decks remaining. To get the real picture, you convert to the true count:
